New Patient

Welcome to Lime Tree Dental

When you attend for your first appointment, you will be greeted by our friendly reception staff who will welcome you in and ask if you have any special requirements or if you need anything. After filling in your medical history the dentist or nurse will welcome you into the surgery where the dentist will first ask if there’s any particular reason for coming to see us.

It is at this time that he will listen to your concerns if you have any, and address them as part of the check-up.

This is done every time you come for a dental check-up. During the check-up, the dentist will also go through your cleaning technique and oral hygiene and advise accordingly. If you require a small clean the dentist can do it there for you, or, if he advises or you prefer, you may need to see a hygienist for a more thorough clean.

At the end of the check-up, your dentist will go through your X-Rays and any findings with you, and, along with any concerns you have, will speak in detail about any treatment needed to give you the time and care to go through everything, all the options available to you and any alternatives.

You will also be given options for pain free dentistry or sedation if that is something you feel you would prefer. Should you decide to have the treatment advised or choose to have any part of the treatment, you will be given a detailed treatment plan and estimate at reception.

If you do not need any treatment, then we simply reappoint you for your next check-up, in 6 months to a year’s time!

Care doesn’t stop when you leave the practice, you are always welcome and encouraged to phone us. If you have any problems, or more importantly, any questions or queries no matter how small, our dentists always have time for you and are always more than happy to help.

Please call the practice if you wish to make an appointment and we hope to see you soon!
